During the during the European Researcher's Night (27 and 28th September) the Azores Science Centers Network is organizing a big event in Ponta Delgada, the largest town of the archipelago. All the different Science Centers will have special stands and activities under the main subject of "Science4Future". The Sea Obeservatory of the Azores shows our "Clockwork Ocean" at the planetarium of the Astronomical Observatory.

German Unity Day 2018

With the mobile dome of the Institute for Coastal Research, the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht could be seen on the "Ländermeile" on the occasion of the German Unity Day in Berlin. The animated movie "Clockwork Ocean" was shown. As every year, the presence of the state of Schleswig-Holstein included an exhibition on coastal and marine research in addition to the HZG dome.
